Introducing The Kindling Trust

The Kindling Trust is at the very early stages of establishing a rural base in the North West of England to work towards a just and ecologically sustainable society (see vision). We have lots of ideas and lots to learn, and are inspired by all the other exciting projects that are happening around the UK and the world to create positive change.

The Kindling Trust is lead by a team of ecological and human rights activists, horticulturalists and social entrepreneurs who strongly believe that social change is not only needed and possible, but that we need to get on with it now! We have established The Kindling Trust to build on and compliment our work over the last decade in Manchester (see team).

This initial website is to introduce our vision and share information about our progress. Over the coming year we plan to turn this site into an on-line resource to share lessons learnt. We hope you find it useful.
