Volunteering Day at Woodbank

First volunteer day of the season, and it's time to start tidying up after the New Year storms and getting everything organised. The day will involve tasks like sorting pots and trays, fixing up the hardening-off benches, fixing any tears in the polytunnels and some weeding in the polytunnels.

Last year we had a fantastic turn out of volunteers at this very crucial stage in our growing year. Your collective help really got us a head of the season and gave our growers and trainers a fantastic start to our best growing season yet! We grew more veg than ever before. In fact we grew and sold enough fresh produce to employ our first full-time dedicated grower on the site!

We will be providing a hot soup and mulled apple juice throughout the day to keep everyone warm.
